But road trip sounds fun, You get to see a bunch of stuff, bond before u leave for college, get lost and visit those old motels in the middle of no where =).

I like the grad party idea. We should all do one big one together instead of a bunch of smaller ones that someone's parents have to set up, clean up, and pay for. What's the point of having 4 billion if we're just going to invite each other anyway?

Yo wats up with this? This is senior year? All people talk about is school? Ill be damned if this is how my senior year is going to end. "But well have all the free time during the summer" Plllllleeassseee everyone will be working, which leaves nights for only some of us, and then vacations and the college trips. So when are people going to get out and do something?

Hmm i guess its just me...cant decide which path to go down to kill time: play basketball and workout, keep running to first and second, eat a place thats a waste of money and then go watch a movie. Each gets boring after a while except the second option, but that just gets u in to trouble.

So people wat do we do? As far as prom is concerned when we first brought up the idea of magianos everyone said thats fine we had "im coming" from atleast 10 people now its like 6. Now im thinking hmm fck them ill take 3 other people and hop in chris's stretch excursion ($20-$30) and go eat with them. Atleast I wont have to hear any drama. If people havent noticed all i want to do is have fun. annnndd no im not saying forget about school and just go party. No im not saying that, but people piss me off when they say "yaaa...i gotta go home and study" and 10 minutes later you see their ass on AIM.

So what does Q want us to do? Leave your house. Get out stay out. (if its because of parents i see why u cant leave). The only time everyone gets together is when we have someones birthday party. Soccer has fallen apart. Whens the last time we went bowling. Whens the last time more than 4 of us went to a movie. bleh im tired of typing. to sum it up again lets do something

No and yes. No in the sense that we want to seek what is true. We aren't "brainwashed" into believing something at face value, but we want to go and figure it out on our own, to appease our desire to know for sure, and once we do, we are more satisfied than before. HOwever, yes in the sense that every now and then there's some issue out there that no one can completely figure out. We want to know with proof supporting it, but there's nothing concrete to affirm our beliefs, so our minds may end up melting into mush.

As for the happiness thing...yeah, I think I can say that I am happy. I know I am now treading onto a delicate and volatile issue here, but here goes my thought(s): I'm happy knowing that God is real, God is love, and He's saved me. How do I know for sure? I can never be 100% sure of this, nor do I believe there's a watertight case for this out there. I Have given this subject lots of thought in the past years though, but no matter how much I think about it, no matter how much I research into finding out what's absolutely true(which I've done a lot), in the end, it all boils down into faith. For me, faith in that my relationship with God will fulfill me. So far, it hasn't failed me yet. My Friday entry dealing with this...sort of (click)

Soooo....yeah, thinking is a good thing.

since sam's guestbook sucks the big one: sam, nice post as always, being drama and stress free is my goal in life, so far ive done a relatively good job. Except for situations about 2 months ago but that was only for a lil bit =). Ya pure happiness dont know if i would like it. I am happy knowing nothing serious went wrong. Friends are ok, family are ok, im ok, i am very fortunate to have wat i have, thus im happy. Then theres the pluses:friends being friends and unexpected good things happening to u and girls. Then there are the minuses: an unexpected upset, girls and friends. But the pluses wouldnt seem as good as the minuses so i tihnk it all balances out. Of course theres always that boring feeling of im doing the samething over and over everyday, to get rid of that...hell i dont know wat to do. =) thats my rant.

And yeah, lots of times I know I'd rather have my ignorance of old than the "intelligence" of now, but, well, what can ya do? (Btw, Jonathan, just so ya know, the first time I read your post I thought it sounded really arrogant, 'cause you talked about how you wished you weren't so smart. Then I realized what you meant, haha, whoops!)

And Ann, to answer your question, I had a pretty good weekend (played video games for 5 hours on Saturday) except I got yelled at by my parents. And I realized it had to end. Doh.

Justin, sorry, I think I accidentally erased your post while I was doing some administrative stuff.

Hope you guys like the subtle changes. I was trying to make it easier to see who was saying what ('cause the names were at the bottom of the posts, which meant you didn't know who was saying what until you finished reading it -- unless of course you have all the font styles memorized, in which case... uh, you've got too much free time).

Still don't know who Chaotic is, and yah, thanks Adam, "me" really helped me figure out who cognate is. *donk*

Also, if everyone would edit their accounts so their nickname is just their first name (click on My Team, your name, then Edit My Profile and change the field) it would be soooooooo much easier and more consistent. So, uh, please? *puppy dog eyes* Thanks!

Um...ya renting a small resturuant is going to be very expensive because ure going to have to pay for all the people that would have come on a saturday night and you cant always trust wat they say. Plus you still have to pay for the food. What is wrong with eating at Magianos? So ya this is wat prom looks like to the Q. Oh ya u take pictures throught this whole time.

Guys day out: Rent a suite go workout, go swimming, go hoop, get the tux, change at the hotel, get the last minute goods (crosage, condoms, handcuffs, whips...J/K!!!). Go pick up the very attractive young ladies. Sit in a chair for an hour while they finish putting on the "final touch". Listen to them say "you want me to look good dont you?". Fall asleep in chair wake up in chair looking at a total stranger...no its your date with make up and a dress. Go to Magianos, tell waiter everyhing we want to eat since it was planned before hand (hint hint hint). Pull out the Lobster bibs (you think im kidding?). Get stuffed. Leave for prom, get stuck in traffic. Get lost on the way beause of all that dam construction and one way streets. Arrive at prom in the back entrance because u dont want anyone to see that u drove. Go into prom see no one dancing. 10:00 PM people have arrived and start dancing. Q gets pissed becaue they are playing gay music that you cant dance to (no offense to gay people). Get your freak on with your date while being harrased by Ms. Greer because she says ure making babies on the dance floor. 12:30 dance is over. Go up to the suite and change...with the girls in the shower....et et um um ok back to real night. Go to afterprom. Wonder wat the hell we will do for 5 hours in a room. Play some dumb casino games. Get bored. Talk to people. Get bored. Get frustrated. Wants to run around screaming because he is bored. Talk to more people. 3:00 AM. looks at watch and sees there are 2 more hours. Wants to take the girls back to the hotel room but chaps wont let him. Finds something to do (hopefully). 6:00 AM wins lots of prizes that he can use to put in the mac daddy pimpalicous...dorm room. Everyone now has ideas on wat to do. Quentin is tired as hell, he just wants to go to sleep with the women. Q goes and does watever the people decide on as long as it dosnt suck. There goes Quentin's prom. Half of the stuff will not go to plan the other half i made up. =) What do u think?
