The Secret Genocide Archive -- good, important op-ed piece on the genocide occuring Sudan

Alright, I'm a pretty emotional person, but I did start choking up when I read this. I also immediately clicked on the two links in the article and signed the online petitions and sent the pre-composed letter to Condoleezza Rice, President Bush, Kofi Annan, and my "local" (Pittsburgh/PA) representatives. I guess I'm asking you guys to do the same, because the article is right:

OUR biggest crime is indifference.

hmm, you guys are so quiet. i'm guessing very few people check this page anymore... -_-' well whatever, i'll post anyway, because i <3 y'all!

Bush's Sex Scandal i.e. why preaching abstinence-only is dumb.

Pretty good article, as far as the writing goes; of course some people might differ in opinion from the author, but basically... I don't. I dunno, what do you guys think?

(i just see things like "promise rings" and think they're so stupid, so fake. and sooo symbolic of the hypocrisy that, for our generation at least, seems to pervade this country. like what you show on the outside matters more than what you really think/do/feel, because no one will know if you keep it a secret well enough. and that's totally not good.)
