Holy shit, did we (Texas) finally do something right?? Kinda sounds like it... I'm not an econ buff though, so I have no real clue. But the NYTimes says Galveston County = laboratory for privatized retirement funds, and they don't make it sound too bad. [shrug] Read and decide for yourself? It's interesting, anyway.

Another interesting article, this one by Thomas L. Friedman, author of a book I've had to read/had to reference in more than one class, called The Lexus and the Olive Tree. Supposedly a groundbreaking, bestselling book about globalization and its effects and stuff. Anyway, he did a piece for the NYTimes and in this piece, he talks about US-China relations, especially as relates to oil. Just thought I'd share.
(And Ann, thanks so much! I miss you! My spring break was LAST week, so this is my first week back. -_- When is yours?)

Uh, thanks guys? =P
Hey, here's (what I think is)a really interesting article about race and genetics and how they're related.
(There's one line near the end that I love: in the beginning they mention that a small tribe may have been wiped out by the tsunamis, and then they refer back: "The fate of one tribe, the Sentinelese, remains uncertain, but an Indian coast guard helicopter sent to check up on them came under bow and arrow attack, which is heartening." Hehehe.)
Alright, I'm out. HAVE A GOOD BREAK, EVERYONE WHO'S ON IT RIGHT NOW!! ^_^
(And write here guys; I miss y'all!)
